Admission Requirements

By applying to the High Calling Program with the Avila Institute you are embarking on a path of prayer, discernment and being mentored in the heart of the Church.

When you apply, our team will walk with you through each step.

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age or a senior in high school.
Must be in good standing with the Church.
Must be able to testify that he is not married or, if he is married, he has the approval of the Holy See.
A completed application for admission must be submitted by all prospective students. The application process includes a brief essay of no more than 250 words indicating your personal motivation to the priesthood.
